By Elviyasa Gaberia Siregar

Selamat pagi, selamat siang, selamat sore temen-temen yang lagi gila-gilanya belajar bahasa inggris. I guess you guys really want to improve your pronunciation, if yes so you visit the right blog.xoxoxo

But before I share some tips how to improve your pronunciation I would like you to know me. I am Elviyasa Gaberia Siregar, I come from Rejang Lebong, one of district in Bengkulu province. Now Imma students, a students of everyone. hii

I do really love speaking English, why? Because its helpful. Why did I mention that? Learning English, especially if you are able to speak English fluently thats a very cool thing. You dont have to deal with the term ‘unemployement’. What?! Yes it is because people who have this skill are always easier in getting their own job even as a private teacher, a tourist guide, a translator, an interpreter, or something!

‘THERE ARE SO MUCH OPPORTUNITY YOU CAN FIND IF YOU ARE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH!! REMEMBER THIS ONE!!’

Okay, then as we know there are four components of speech. They are Grammar, fluency, pronunciation, comprehension, and vocabulary.  I dont wanna talk all of these five components of speech. Let me concern only  in the terms ‘pronunciation’.

What do you think about pronunciation? Some people say that we dont have to have very well pronunciation, as long as we understand what the speaker says it is enough. God I hate this statement! Thats totally wrong!!! When you are able to speak English fluently with what a wonderful pronunciation of course it affects your quality! No matters how awesome your speaking skill is, even your sentence is totally right, but just remember if you dont have this magical articulation you will loose it all, you are NOTHING!. It is just like you are mumbling something by using other language. See? Come on, if ya love English just love it with your deep heart. Here I propose you some tips to improve your pronunciation.

1.     Tonguetwister
Try to pronounce this tonguetwister everytime and see how it works!
Ø ‘We can compare these two rulers, ruler ‘R’ is bigger than ruler ‘RR’
Ø ‘Peter Piper picked a peck of pickle peppers. A peck of pickle peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickle peppers. Where is a peck of pickle peppers Piter Piper picked?’
Ø E.t.c. create your own tongutwister, it is so easy, THE FIRST ONE IS MINE!

2.     Learn from video.
I prefer learning English especially pronunciation by imitating the way native speakers pronounce that. I usually download some interview videos, like Ellen, or radio interview, or something. It affects you a lot. I guarantee that!

3.     Dont forget to read English books as many as you can. My private teacher just told me that this way is gonna helpful. Her speaking skill is awesome, and it is because she often reads an English novel, etc.

I think thats all I can share, I just have so much things that I can’t share now. Just waiting for my next articles, I hope these tips will be useful for you. Ngantuk yaa, good night my lovely readers. Hiii :D
